Let's get started!

Can my five years old kid play that?

Oct 22, 2:59AM EDT0

I think so. The game is easy to learn and there are two ways of playing it - you can go against each other or if you want to show your kid that you can get further by working as a team you can team up against the monsters. The illustrations of the monsters are cute and in no way scary or harmful.

Do you think it is easy to create a card game?

Oct 21, 3:31AM EDT0

Yes and no. Yes because you can just do it without any knowledge of designing, producing and so on. No because sometimes your idea just doesn't work as a game. So you have to try to get your idea to work and sometimes this can get really frustrating. Also sometimes it can happen, that your designed game is just boring to play. Therefore you really have to take a lot of variables into your process of creating. But it makes a lot of fun if you go serious on it. And it makes even more fun, when the people who played your game actually start to like it.

Oct 21, 9:35AM EDT0

Have you approached large chain shops or retail outlets to pitch the idea to them - backers want to see groundwork before they invest!

Oct 20, 7:24PM EDT0

Actually we visited the biggest game-event of our country to talk to local stores and publishers to pitch them our game idea and present our game.

Oct 21, 9:31AM EDT0

Have you done other crowdfunding campaigns before?

Oct 20, 6:57PM EDT0

No. This is our first campaign. But we analyzed a lot of successful and not successful campaigns to get an idea how crowdfunding actually works and how not.

Oct 21, 9:30AM EDT0

Have you ever considered selling your idea as a whole to a larger more well-known company and staying on their team?

Oct 20, 2:27PM EDT0

No. If not necessary, we want to keep our "freedom" on doing whatever we want with our games.

Oct 21, 9:29AM EDT0

How did you come up with the caracters?

Oct 20, 2:03PM EDT0

Actually I didn't. We worked with an illustrator together and asked him to just create ten monsters. He drafted some and we changed them back and forth until we were happy with them. So they just came along in the process of designing the monsters.

Oct 21, 9:27AM EDT0

What is your all time favorite board game?

Oct 20, 11:25AM EDT0

That's a hard one... :-) I really enjoy monopoly a lot. But also classics like settlers of catan, the village and even simpler games like the crazy maze or UNO. Conclusively said; we just like games - a lot of them.

Oct 21, 9:25AM EDT0

What inspires you to make this card game?

Oct 20, 9:54AM EDT1

We play a lot of games at home or with family and friends. If you play a lot and also different games every time, you automatically start to optimize these games, so your group likes them even more. If you add a little creativity to it, you are likely soon starting on working on your own game. Also we wanted to make games for bigger groups, as it is hard sometimes to find games to play with up to six friends or even more. We also like battling each other as much as working together against the game - therefore we realized both modes in our current game.

Oct 21, 9:22AM EDT0

Have you attended any well-known events that could help you gain exposure for your crowdfunding sites?

Oct 20, 9:53AM EDT0

Actually we visited the biggest game-event of our country to talk to local stores and publishers to pitch them our game idea and present our game.

Oct 21, 9:22AM EDT0

Can you give some advice to people interested in launching their own crowdfunding campaigns?

Oct 20, 8:15AM EDT0

There are a lot of good resources online to get help and checklists and oppinions from well-experienced campaign-owners. We would recommend to take all your time needed and believe these successful creators since they've learned their lessons. And also - it takes a lot of effort to go through a campaign. It's not just earning money easily... So if you don't want to put effort in your campaing, simply do not start one.

Oct 21, 9:20AM EDT0

How would you feel if this crowdfunding campaign doesn't meet your expectations?

Oct 20, 7:16AM EDT0

It would be sad for sure. But we are trying our best and as we go on, the community grows and the game and our brand gets more attention. So even if the campaign fails, we might take a second try on reaching our goal.

Oct 21, 9:16AM EDT0

How long do you think it would take for this crowdfunding campaign to attain the goals you have?

Oct 20, 5:08AM EDT0

It will take a long time unless we will get the attention of local media... It may even fail without the support through big influencers or the media, since we need a lot of money settled in a small country with a lot of sceptic conventional people.

Oct 21, 9:15AM EDT0

How different do you feel your concept is compared to anything else out there right now?

Oct 20, 5:00AM EDT1

It's pretty different as I don't know any game like ours. Of course there are similarities with existing games or game mechanics, like "you have three hearts as your life point" and so on. Or like "draw a card from somebody". But otherwise it's pretty outstanding.

Oct 21, 9:11AM EDT0

Have you approached any famous people or other influencers to use your product and market in this way?

Oct 20, 4:19AM EDT0

We are trying to get some local media on the campaign and we also sent some testgames to bloggers and so on, so they write an article or review about the game to influence their readers / followers in a good way.

Oct 21, 9:09AM EDT0

Have you considered trying to make a viral video on YouTube to gain followers and investors?

Oct 20, 4:01AM EDT0

We already made some videos but normally the people decide wether your videos go viral or not by their behaviour on sharing and liking the videos or not - there is no simple way of just "making" viral videos, if you don't want to trick your audience with clickbait or something stupid...

Oct 21, 9:07AM EDT0

What inspired you to make a game like this?

Oct 20, 12:48AM EDT0

We play a lot of games at home or with family and friends. If you play a lot and also different games every time, you automatically start to optimize these games, so your group likes them even more. If you add a little creativity to it, you are likely soon starting on working on your own game. How difficult it is to raise funds through crowdfunding sites compared to traditional fundraisers?

Oct 19, 9:34PM EDT0

It is difficult to raise a big amount of money online if you don't get the attention of your local media. Since I don't know the difference to traditional fundraisers, I can't get to deep into answering your whole question... Maybe you can explain a little further.

Oct 21, 9:00AM EDT0

How long will it take a person to learn this game?

Oct 19, 3:36PM EDT0

Our goal is to create games with simple rules. So all the instructions fit on one single DIN A4 sheet. We also created how-to-play videos for those who want to start even quicker. Depending to the length of these videos I would estimate, that it would take you like 5-10 minutes to learn the game's mechanic. Of course, if you take on a more strategic shot, you will need to play some matches to get all the powers of all the cards and how and when to use them for the best advantages. :-)

Oct 21, 8:58AM EDT0

how will be the game?

Oct 19, 2:36PM EDT0

The game will be fun of course. :-D We played it with many people in all age classes and they all enjoyed the game very much. You can choose to fight against your friends or team up with them and fight against the evil monster bosses.

Oct 21, 8:53AM EDT0

Is this your first Kickstarter campaign? What lessons have you learnt so far?

Oct 19, 12:30PM EDT0

Yes this is our first campaign. We've learned, that it takes a lot of time preparing it. And that, if you don't get the attention of the local media, it becomes really hard to get beyond a big goal like >10k currency.
